The Weight of the Invisible ist eine Ausstellung in zwei Teilen, die dem dokumentarischen Werk des Filmemachers und Fotografen Wang Bing (geb. 1967 in Xi’an, China, lebt in Paris) gewidmet ist. Der zweite Teil bringt Fotografien, die im Zusammenhang mit Wang Bings Debütfilm West of the Tracks (2002) entstanden sind, mit zwei Filmarbeiten zusammen; Man in Black (2023) und Beauty Lives in Freedom (2018).

Begleitend zu Part II der Ausstellung findet in Kooperation mit der Filmwerkstatt Düsseldorf am 10. Juni 2025 ein Screening von Wang Bings Film Mrs. Fang (2018) statt.
